Cursed ForeverAtomic Number 76 - Cursed Forever
Country: USA      Genre: Alternative/Indie Rock, Stoner/Sludge Metal

New York City rockers Atomic Number 76 have been really busy since forming almost three years ago. The trio of Bingo Sinatra (vocals and bass), Mauro Felipe (guitars), and Ronnie Seward (drums), have recorded an e.p., a full length, and now a new four song e.p. since 2002. Cursed Forever, like its predecessors, features some strong material. "Cursed Forever" opens the disc with their timeless yet seventies rooted rock. "Humanzee" has some stop and go guitar riffing but it's in a stoner rock vein and has a psychedelic guitar solo. "Alien Agent" is next but it's "Spirit" with its old school rocking spirit which exudes the energy Atomic Number 76 capture in the live setting. I wouldn't proclaim them as saviors, but Atomic Number 76 is always a welcome listen.
