Eternal Gray -
Kindless |
Kindless is the debut from Eternal Gray, a band which hails from Israel, home of the excellent Rabies Caste.
Eternal Gray play a style of metal closest associated with death metal. I am most reminded of bands like Vader and Morbid Angel when listening to Kindless, especially in the guitar style of Eyal Glottmann and Dory Baror.
"Sins in the Process of Creation" sets a fast-paced groove with "Flesh Cycles" and "Absent Mourn." By this point, I have nothing but praise for the musicianship, the aforementioned guitar playing and also the crisp, multi-diminensional drumming of Eran Asias. They are excellent song constructors and play with confidence. It is Glottmann's exceptionally weak, gruff vocals which hurt Kindless.
With a good vocalist, this band could be great.
